The backbone of the system is Wing Chun kung fu, which is complemented by the tools of armed and bare-handed, standing and ground-fighting styles. This way, in addition to bare-handed defense techniques, you can also learn to defense against weapons and multiple attackers. Psychological preparation is an integral part of the system. During your workouts, you can gain insight into the psychology of violence. You can learn strategies to deal with stress and fear during self-defense. You can improve your strength, agility, from any level of skill.

Anyone who follows the basic rules can take part in our trainings:

  • Arrive on time before your workout so you can prepare!
  • Always keep order and cleanliness!
  • No walking in and out during training!
  • Drinking is allowed at the appointed time!
  • It is forbidden to participate in training under the influence of any mind-altering substance!
  • Always come to workout in well-groomed (clean hands, short nails) and clean clothes. Take off your watch, jewelry, bracelet, necklace, earrings!
  • If you are ill, do not show up for training!
  • Train on your workouts in a disciplined manner, with full care and effort!
  • Due to the nature of training, it is strictly forbidden to bring firearms or sharp blades into the training park!
  • The situations and cases processed during the training are sensitive topics, the confidentiality of what is said is mandatory!
  • Rough language can also be used during situational exercises, be prepared for this!
  • Strive for maximum safety during your workout!
  • Injuries can occur during training, despite the utmost safety, be aware of this!
  • Taking photos or videos during training is strictly forbidden!
  • You adhere to political and religious neutrality!

About me

My name is Dr. Zsolt Orosz. I have been doing martial arts for 20 years. During this time, I tried a number of martial arts and combat sports. I have come to the conclusion that in today’s world, it is not enough to rely on the techniques of a single martial art style. For me, self-defense is not a style of martial arts, but a set of techniques and methods that are best suited to ensure survival in an unexpected, dangerous situation, be it an armed attack or multiple attackers. In addition to physical preparation, I place great emphasis on mental preparation. As a psychiatrist, my studies of the human mind have greatly helped me understand violent human behavior. As well as during my medical studies, I gained a comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, which greatly helped my martial arts career. Insights into the psychology of violence can greatly increase your chances of survival by understanding why things happens. I believe that it is not enough just to learn the techniques, but also to practice their application in the face of real resistance and to study their biomechanical and psychological effects. During my 20 years in the martial arts, I have always practiced the study of techniques with an objective scientific method. My basic principle is that whoever practices martial arts remains a disciple until his death, and a master’s degree is only means that the disciple is ready for the transfer of knowledge. Thus, a master is not qualified by degrees, but by successful disciples.

  • How much does self-defense training cost?

  • What equipment do I need for training?
    Comfortable clothing that allows you to move around. Always wear shoes! Sports shoes are recommended, but other footwear is also accepted.
  • What protective gear do I need to bring to training?
    You will need to bring your own mouthguard for each workout for safer combat practices. We will provide you with all the other protective gear you need during your workout. It is also recommended to purchase a groin protector and chest protector.
  • How long will I be able to defend myself?
    It is often said that you need at least three to four months of training to master basic self-defense techniques. The full mastery of Wing Chun kung fu takes approx. 1-1.5 years of intense training.
  • What branches of martial arts does the training feed on?
    The backbone of the system is Wing Chun kung fu, which is supplemented with Escrima / Kali, Jiu Jitsu, Chi Na techniques. We use only techniques that are truly suitable for effective use in self-defense.
  • What kind of room does the training take place in?
    The trainings take place in a training park designed for this purpose. In contrast to a traditional gym, you also have to deal with real-world variants here.
  • How is a workout structured?
    We start with a warm-up, into which we also smuggle in basic strengthening exercises. We also lay the foundation for endurance development. Punches and kicks, technical training, and paired exercises also take place here. In the second part of the training, we apply what we have learned during situational exercises. Theoretical and practical training takes place simultaneously. In the third part of the training, a practice fight follows. Then, after the practice fights comes the cooldown.
  • From what age can I apply for group training?
    Applicants over the age of 18 are welcome, there is no upper age limit.
  • How long is workout?
    2 hours.
  • Do I need sports history for workouts?
    Is not. Your stamina and condition will improve with time.
